Welcome to Jolly Jacobs
The Jolly flock of Jacobs lives in the Yorkshire Dales between Skipton and Settle. We also have the Saxown herds of Longhorns and Jerseys at Little Newton. The Saxby family have always farmed dairy cattle until 2006 when we moved from Nottinghamshire to North Yorkshire and bought three Grey Faced Dartmoors. We didn't get on very well with them and dispersed them in 2008 after we had lambed Jacobs for the first time and realised how easy they were to get along with. Since then we have increased our flock to around 12 breeding ewes plus followers, then this year we have also bought a Kerry Hill ewe lamb and hope to increase this breed as well.
